Raindrop Technique - the ultimate pampering
Raindrop ® Technique derives its name from the art of dripping unadulterated, therapeutic-grade essential oils onto the body (like rain) from a height of 15cm, so that the oils interact with the physical body as well as the energy field. This was inspired by the Native American belief that raindrops falling from a height may purify and cleanse the body and spirit. Because the essential oils easily penetrate the skin and muscles, the technique works on deep levels of the body without requiring hard pressure or force. Raindrop Technique is conducted in silence. Undistracted by sound and talking, the recipient is able to sink into a deep state of relaxation and self-connection. In this receptive state, inner “shifts” may more easily take place. Finest oils The technique uses only Young Living high quality essential oils and Young Living member Barb Free is one of only two qualified Raindrop Technique Professionals in the Toowoomba region.
Barb has complemented her Raindrop Technique skill by additionally training as a Facial Rejuvenation Technician. Facial Rejuvenation uses non-invasive acupressure techniques and Young Living essential oil products to give people younger looking faces and improved inner health. This protocol has also been observed to provide a range of 'bonus' health benefits. High-profile US massage therapist, Carla Green (a registered Physiotherapist and Acupuncturist) calls it “health by stealth”, meaning that the treatment seems to produce quite a number of unexpected health benefits for many people. The full Raindrop experience Imagine the sensation of sinking into a deep and blissful state of rest, as someone carries out the ancient Tibetan version of reflexology on your feet. As you slowly (even reluctantly) come back to your body and roll over, you experience the gentle splashes as therapeutic grade essential oils are applied up your spine and to your tired muscles. These oils are then “feathered in” using a spine-tingling technique inspired by the Native Americans, combined with massage. You can’t get more pampered than this! Raindrop Technique can be performed on both people and animals. In addition to being a modality in its own right, the various elements of Raindrop Technique can be used to complement most other modalities, including massage (all forms), Reflexology, Bowen Therapy, Shiatsu, Chiropractic and Physiotherapy.
